Julia, I just signed up. That Feedblitz looks like a pretty good service.
You’ve definitely got a lot of good elements at work in this blog: you’re using WordPress’ Pages feature, you have AdSense and Sitemeter, and you’ve got Facebook and Twitter hooked up.
How do you do the Top 5 page? Is that a WP plugin?

It’s SO_CAL_RETAIL_SLUT here.
We’ve been slutting around Seatlle and Bainbridge Island the last three weeks or so….I know in February no less, but the weather has not ben so bad..no snow unlike December when Seattle had the BIG snowstorm.
Talking about Seattle, did you buy the gift cards from Costco to take advantage of the 20% percent discount? Please tell me you did, then you are the REAL Bargain Babe…lol
Ironically, my hubby has been working on a project indirectly related to Costco and their executive offices in Issaquah. I expected a Costco-like warehouse type building as their corporate offices, and was simply stunned by the beauty, scope and size of their campus.
Costco being Costco even has one of their stores next to their corporate campus.
Talking about Vons, here in Seattle, Vons parent company Safeway has also been busy promoting some real hot deals on several price-impact items, so much so they are plastering the entrance door with several of these “Hot Buys” as you walk-in.
Kroger owned Ralphs and it’s two sisters here QFC (more like the old Hughes in Los Angeles) and Fred Meyer (Freddy’s, similar to a nicer Wal-Mart Supercenter) have also been promoting the hell out of several feature items.
As far as overall pricing, as compared to hyper-competitve Los Angeles, grocery pricing is higher here in Seattle.
Gas is comparable to Los Angeles, anywhere from 2.13 to 2.25 per gallon, depending on neighborhood.
Airfares have been the real bargain! $59.00 one-way for non-stop flights out of LAX on Alaska, United Express and Virgin America. I haven’t seen fares like this since the early 1990’s!
